MIssion and Board Directors

The United States Sport Horse Breeders Association (USSHBA) was founded in 2010 to strengthen the presence and recognition of breeders throughout the US sport horse community. Incorporated in 2012, the USSHBA was approved as an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit group in 2014. The USSHBA is designed to serve as an independent, united voice in matters of sport governance for breeders across registries and disciplines, to strengthen the bonds that connect breeders to each other and to owners, riders, and trainers, fostering a sense of community in working together to achieve American-bred success.

Our Mission

Support the efforts of U.S. sport horse breeders through education, recognition, and outreach.
Identify and bring forward issues of concern to U.S. sport horse breeders in a variety of forums.
Serve as a resource for the U.S. sport horse community.
Promote the welfare and success of sport horses in the U.S.A.
